The Narrow Road

Narrow path winding through trees, illustrating a spiritual journey

While the 'narrow road' to Life may not be very trendy or popular, it is still a fundamental aspect of the Way. Embarking on this journey is the result of a Spiritual Awakening, however it also leads us progressively into one.

On this narrow road, we are called to "...glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5

While we may not always appreciate the journey that has been laid at our feet, the closer we become to the One that first chose us, the more peace and freedom we experience to continue along the Way.

Continue with Acceptance in the Vine to explore how experiences of acceptance and rejection can shape the way we relate to God, and what it means to receive acceptance in Christ rather than strive to earn it.
